Ghost Hunting and Beyond (10:00am)

A primer and educational lecture that discusses ghost hunting as a hobby and as legitimate research. The differences between the two are presented as well as common misconceptions about equipment and techniques. Common traps of the ghost hunting "profession" are also revealed. Q and A session follows the lecture. Presented by Cody Polston, President of the Southwest Ghost Hunters Association and author of Haunted New Mexico.

Haunted New Mexico (11:15am)

Cody Polston, author of Haunted New Mexico, presents the Land of Enchanment's top ten haunted places. The presentation is augmented with photos, video and EVP captured by the Southwest Ghost Hunters during their investigations of these infamous locations.

Ghost Tech (2:00pm)

An educational lecture that covers the latest technological advances in paranormal research including image and EVP analysis. Modification of digital cameras and the latestest developments in meter and detection technology are also presented. Presented by Bob Carter, Vice President of the SGHA.

 

The Haunted Southwest (3:30)

A visual presentation covering the best photos and creepiest encounters in the American Southwest. The presentation ends with a historical overview of the town of Mountainair and its ghostly legends.

Delve into the science of the shadows with in-depth presentations and Q&A sessions on ghost hunting hypotheses, techniques and equipment from experienced investigators with over 30 years combined experience.
